DLA Piper and Bojanovic and Partners has advised Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), which is part of the Barry-Wehmiller group, on the acquisition of STAX Technologies, headquartered in Čačak, Serbia. The acquisition strengthens PCMC’s tissue packaging product line offering. It is the first acquisition by the Barry-Wehmiller group in Serbia. Signing and closing of the transaction occurred simultaneously at the end of September 2019.
STAX Technologies is a market leader in the tissue packaging equipment industry, whose core product offerings include wrappers, bundlers, casepackers and palletizers.
Established in 1919, PCMC is a leader in tissue converting, packaging, flexographic printing, bag converting and nonwovens technology with four production centers in the U.S., England, Italy and Belgium, and 1,000 employees worldwide.
